AccuTrees is a genealogy service with accuracy and affordability in mind.

If you are interested in tracing your family's ancestry but lack the time or resources needed to do so, then you're in the right place. Also, if you have an existing family tree that has mistakes instead of proper documentation (census records, marriage records, etc.), then you're in luck.

AccuTrees takes accuracy very seriously. We do NOT copy just any old information from other online family trees without the aforementioned proper documentation. We use the following resources:

We cannot guarantee that we can find all of your ancestors. Many genealogical records have been lost over the years because of fires, wars, and other disasters. For example, almost all of the 1890 US Census records were burned up in a courthouse fire in 1921. Also, the further back you go in history, the murkier it gets, depending on the state your ancestor lived and died in. For example, I have found that Massachusetts has better record-keeping than South Carolina. Regardless of where your ancestors were from, we will do our utmost to find as many of them as possible, and trace your ancestry as far back as possible.
